The deadlines for submission of applications must be strictly adhered to. Applications must be submitted to the relevant campus for review and recommendations. The campus Pearson Scholarship Committee will forward the application to the national Pearson Scholarship Committee for final approval.

No late applications will be considered.
- Applications for bursaries are considered only from South African citizens who intend to study full time towards qualifications on offer at any of the Pearson Institute/CTI campuses. The applicant must meet the minimum entrance requirements for the specific qualification he or she wishes to study and have obtained a senior certificate or equivalent school leaving certificate, accompanied by a SAQA certificate of equivalence and/or USAF exemption certificate.
- A student who enrols for special courses, short learning programmes, Higher Certificate, or Foundation programmes does not qualify for these awards.
- The application is only for new students who have not previously studied at Pearson Institute or CTI.
- Students must have a Pearson Student Number to apply for a scholarship (which will be received on successful application to PIHE/CTI).
