We have various events each year, some of which include the Valentine's Mixer, the Welcome Bash, Quiz Night, Movie Night, Lan Games, Mr & Ms Interrobang (Student Ambassador Search), Mandela Day, Various “frat” parties, Pre-Exam Pamper party, Boerewors roll sales and the Student End of Year function to name a few. We also offer a range of clubs and societies that students can join such as the Book Club, Hiking Club and the campus newspaper. Students are free to approach their SRC to create their own clubs too. Many sports tournaments also feature during the year, including soccer, netball and rugby.

Campus Security

Our campus is access controlled and we have security gates and booms with a strict sign-in process.

Student Parking

Students can purchase a parking tag for R250 per month for the months they attend classes.

Student Activities in the Area

Claremont has 3 shopping malls and because our campus is part of the Varsity Vibe students membership, students have access to various food specials and discounts at most stores in the area. Claremont caters for the adventurous too as we have Rush (trampoline park) just 5 minutes away from campus and Acrobranch (ziplines) just 10 minutes away. Stadium-on-Main also has ten pin bowling and action sports for those that want to be sporty. Claremont has some of the most beautiful hiking trails, including Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens where they host summer concerts as well as the Galileo open air cinema (student discounts available with student card). Cape Town itself has beautiful scenery (beaches, forests, mountains) and with Claremont being so central, it means all of these are right on your doorstep.

Why Our Campus Is Unique

The Cape Town campus is unique because we have a beautiful view of Table Mountain, we’re centrally located with easy access to public transport and we’re home to a diverse group of local and international students.

The Campus Location

Our campus is situated in the bustling suburb of Claremont, Cape Town, which has a beautiful view of Table Mountain. Claremont is home to many young people, especially university students, and is a fun filled suburb that has a great nightlife and lots of accommodation. There are also many shopping malls, shops, restaurants and coffee shops to cater to all your needs. We are a 5 minute walk from the transport hub where you are able to take a taxi, train or bus. Claremont is full of character and doesn’t just have your regular malls and clubs. It is a very central suburb where a quick 10 minute drive can take you to the Constantia Winelands or straight to the beach.

Transport Options

We are situated 5 minutes away from the Claremont transport hub that houses trains, taxis, and buses. We have a bus stop just outside our campus too.
